About The Position
The Production Supervisor will report to the Sr. Supervisor and is responsible for supervising shop floor personnel across all production departments, including HeliCoil, Dodge, and Machine Shop. The role involves executing the production plan, ensuring the correct man-to-machine ratio, and maintaining optimal Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). The supervisor will ensure that all direct reports adhere to policies and procedures, follow safety protocols, and have the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities also include EHS incident reporting, conducting weekly employee engagement meetings, maintaining production schedules, and ensuring output meets quality standards. The supervisor will proactively communicate any schedule shortfalls, interface with other supervisors for efficient operations, maintain cleanliness on the production floor, and foster a respectful relationship with employees. Additionally, the supervisor will track time and attendance and serve as a change agent in implementing new processes to enhance efficiency and on-time delivery.
