The job purpose is to provide quality products to meet customer demand, production and scrap standards by communicating and directing/supervising production employees in completing company goals/objectives. This is a second shift onsite position. Shift hours are 1:30PM - 10:30PM Monday - Friday.

Communication with team members regarding quality standards, safety standards, safe working environment, state of the business, policy and procedures, production goals, objectives, and floor specifications.
Supervision of production team members including interviewing, hiring, performance appraisals, discipline, training, documentation, counseling, coaching, promoting teamwork, motivating, and supporting.
Establishing work schedules, managing planned and unplanned absences, covering the line as needed, providing supplies, requesting materials, and inputting production information into the MRP system.
Preparing report summaries.
Maintaining vendor and customer contact.
Implementing machine modifications for new product processes, design, and development.
Coaching, counseling, and monitoring employees' work habits and use of proper PPE to ensure safety standards are met.
Completing other duties as assigned.

Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
Experience in supervising production team members.
Skills in establishing work schedules and managing production lines.
Ability to prepare report summaries.
Experience in vendor and customer contact.
Knowledge of machine modifications and new product processes.
Ability to coach and monitor employees' work habits.
