The job purpose is to provide quality products to meet customer demand, production and scrap standards by communicating and directing/supervising production employees in completing company goals/objectives. This is a second shift onsite position. Shift hours are 1:30PM - 10:30PM Monday - Friday.

  • Communication with team members regarding quality standards, safety standards, safe working environment, state of the business, policy and procedures, production goals, objectives, and floor specifications.
  • Supervision of production team members including interviewing, hiring, performance appraisals, discipline, training, documentation, counseling, coaching, promoting teamwork, motivating, and supporting.
  • Establishing work schedules, managing planned and unplanned absences, covering the line as needed, providing supplies, requesting materials, and inputting production information into the MRP system.
  • Preparing report summaries.
  • Maintaining vendor and customer contact.
  • Implementing machine modifications for new product processes, design, and development.
  • Coaching, counseling, and monitoring employees' work habits and use of proper PPE to ensure safety standards are met.
  • Completing other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
  • Experience in supervising production team members.
  • Skills in establishing work schedules and managing production lines.
  • Ability to prepare report summaries.
  • Experience in vendor and customer contact.
  • Knowledge of machine modifications and new product processes.
  • Ability to coach and monitor employees' work habits.
