As the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for assigning and coordinating the work in a manufacturing department in order to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality. You will have authority for personnel actions and oversee most day-to-day operations of the group. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a log of shift operations, preparing daily time sheets for hourly employees, production summaries, overtime and downtime reports, inspecting products to verify production specifications are met, reviewing production schedules, material and manpower resources, and assigning employees to maximize production objectives, maintain quality and attain output requirements. You will also participate in establishing and modifying operational methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment and procedures, maintain a variety of reports, records and production documentation to reflect schedules and performance, and train new workers in the organization's operating procedures and standards.
