About The Position

The Production Supervisor at RECARO is responsible for directing all aspects of the assembly line to ensure that the production process, quality, and final product meet FAA and other approved specifications. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of safety, quality, and design that RECARO is known for, while also enhancing team performance in the Fort Worth facility.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a production environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes and quality control standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and specifications related to production.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the aerospace industry or similar manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in data management and analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise the Production department activities while supporting Leads in the daily tasks.
• Manage the payroll and timesheets for all the non-exempt employees as needed.
• Manage shop floor boards data including the production schedule and any other source of performance/info charts related to the production department.
• Coordinate with Engineering to ensure Engineering issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with production planning to ensure that control sheets are received according to the production plan, review for accuracy, and advise planning if changes are needed.
• Coordinate with Logistics and Purchasing to ensure that material flow is constant.
• Coordinate inspection flow with the QA department to ensure an efficient and timely line movement.
• Follow up with the Line DPUs and support in corrective actions, looking after unresolved quality criteria issues and coordinating for resolution.
