About The Position

A.J. Rose Manufacturing is a leading manufacturer of precision metal stampings and value-added components primarily serving the automotive industry. We are seeking a hands-on and results-driven Production Supervisor to oversee our 1st shift operations and ensure production goals are met efficiently. The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising production staff, setting priorities to meet production goals, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels of the organization.

Requirements

• Experience and training in the automotive components industry.
• Leadership experience is essential.
• Some college coursework preferred.
• Union experience a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production staff and make recommendations as necessary.
• Set production priorities to meet established production goals.
• Monitor production efficiencies and downtime, identifying and implementing solutions to improve performance.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through regular monitoring and process improvements.
• Address and respond to quality non-conformances.
• Schedule training and ensure all training requirements are met.
• Enforce plant safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Manage employee engagement, performance, work with HR on policies and procedures.
