About The Position

The Production Supervisor at Arconic is responsible for leading and directing hourly team members in the Sheet Finishing department to ensure efficient production of metal. This role emphasizes creating a safe and productive work environment while fostering team development and engagement. The supervisor will implement Lean manufacturing principles and ensure high-quality production standards are met.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Associates Degree in Engineering, Leadership, or a technical field from an accredited institution.
• Specialized vocational or technical training courses (e.g., apprenticeships, Journeyman licensure).
• 2 years or more of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2 or more years of experience in a union environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to hourly team members to meet business requirements for efficient production.
• Ensure product quality, improved recovery, reliable delivery performance, and rapid problem-solving.
• Accomplish business objectives in accordance with the Arconic Business System (ABS).
• Coach employees to achieve measurable results and eliminate waste while securing flow and creating a visual factory.
• Provide process direction and prioritization to craft employees on off-shifts to resolve equipment issues.
