About The Position

Make an impact on our night shift production team onsite in Darien, WI. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead team members to accomplish the plant's process improvement opportunities. Manage production staff to attain production and quality goals. Support continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, cost and customer service. Manage several functions of the business and creating an engaged and team-oriented work force to improve our results.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, engineering, food science, agricultural sciences, or other natural science fields preferred.
• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Two years + supervisory experience.
• Previous experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing strongly preferred; other manufacturing experience also considered.
• Working knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and loss, plant equipment, safety initiatives, continuous improvement systems preferred.
• SAP experience desired.
• Available to work 6pm-6am on a 2/2/3 schedule with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production to ensure that quality, productivity, and cost standards are maintained.
• Provide employee training to ensure that employees are performing job responsibilities.
• Help manage sanitation operations to maintain a clean and food safe environment.
• Coach and enforce plant rules, regulations and procedures.
• Evaluate subordinate performance, communicate with employees, and provide information for work performance improvement.
• Support plant and company safety programs, maintain a high level of awareness and adherence to defined employee safety requirements such as lock-out/tag-out, personal protective equipment, confined space entry, etc.
• Manage Adherence, Attainment, and Productivity to deliver targets.
