As a hands-on leader, you'll oversee the daily activities of our Logistics and Assembly in the manufacturing of large, custom-designed control valves. Shape the future of our industry while driving excellence in this exciting leadership role. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Maintain a strong safety culture and a safe work environment. Responsible for completing safety audits, daily safety start-ups, inspections, and generating ideas to improve safety. Plan and direct daily work activities to dynamically lead Logistic/Assembly resources to obtain daily goals. Develop and implement process improvements to reduce non-conformances, improve cost, and reduce manufacturing process time. Complete individual and operation-based quality audits to verify compliance with quality standards. Develop cross training plans to improve Logistics/Assembly performance and increase flexibility and throughput. Improve employee performance through formal and informal performance reviews, job training, and the sharing of ideas to improve department performance. Participate in the development of capital plans and support the implementation of new technology to improve manufacturing processes and reduce non-conformances. Support the development and implementation of industry’s best practices in areas such as 5S+1, TPM, Kaizen events, and implement cost reductions to improve performance. Maintain department records, such as hours worked, overtime hours, cross-training, productivity, quality, etc. Consistently administer the labor agreement and lead efforts to improve performance.
