About The Position

We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor / Lead Operator to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensure product quality, and lead a team in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for coordinating staff, maintaining safety and quality standards, and driving efficiency across production lines. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in manufacturing, process improvement, and team supervision. Pay- Based On Experience!

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse leadership role required
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and production issues
  • Knowledge of quality control processes and safety standards
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull materials as needed
  • Comfortable working in a production environment with machinery and noise

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate production team members across multiple machines and departments
  • Assign staffing based on production needs and ensure proper coverage
  • Monitor workflow, machine performance, and production output
  • Lead by example on the production floor and maintain a consistent presence
  • Train and develop operators and new employees
  • Promote teamwork and maintain a positive work environment
  • Monitor machine speeds, output, and downtime; troubleshoot issues as needed
  • Ensure materials, supplies, and inventory are stocked and available
  • Coordinate with maintenance and technical teams to resolve equipment issues
  • Track production metrics and ensure targets are met
  • Assist with process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Ensure all products meet required specifications and quality standards
  • Conduct and support routine quality checks and inspections
  • Work with quality teams to resolve defects and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure all required documentation and reports are completed accurately
  • Enforce all workplace safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure employees are using proper PPE and following safe work practices
  • Monitor equipment and work areas for hazards
  • Lead safety meetings and promote a safety-first culture
  • Respond to incidents and complete required reporting
  • Monitor employee attendance, performance, and productivity
  • Address employee concerns and provide coaching or corrective action when needed
  • Maintain accurate production and personnel records
  • Communicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Participate in meetings and provide updates on operations
