About The Position

Responsibilities

• Responsible for oversight of operations within assigned shift - approximately 130 total union team members and multiple production supervisors
• Develop, motivate, and facilitate training for direct reports and team members
• Assist in leading the efforts to implement lean manufacturing initiatives, challenges status quo always
• Work closely with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to achieve production goals by solving problems and implementing error-proofing at the production processes
• Actions must demonstrate commitment and belief of "continuous improvement" for personal and team development, as well as manufacturing process improvements
• Understands plant performance and KPI tracking, sets actions based on data that contribute to the efforts to meet or exceed KPIs, including Safety, Quality, Throughput, Labor Efficiency, First Pass Yield, and Cost Reduction.
• Uphold company policies and administer the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement in partnership with Human Resources
