The Production Supervisor II – Day Shift role is based in South Brunswick, NJ (onsite) . Where You’ll Make a Difference Lead and monitor production operations during the assigned shift, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution of daily manufacturing and shipping activities Ensure full implementation of safety and food safety standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), near‑miss reporting, and corrective actions Supervise production processes and actively participate in batch making and filling activities as needed to meet production demands Partner with Quality to monitor in‑process controls and ensure finished products meet established specifications Investigate production deviations and collaborate with Quality on effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) Monitor daily production schedules using ZPro and Oflow systems to meet on-time performance and customer delivery targets Coordinate with Maintenance to support equipment reliability, calibration, and uptime across production assets Lead shop‑floor tier meetings and execute daily operations using the IFF Operating System Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including 6S projects, to enhance safety, efficiency, and process flow

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3–5 years of supervisory or lead experience in food, chemical, or regulated manufacturing environments
  • Strong working knowledge of food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, including GMPs, HACCP, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage shift operations, and achieve production targets
  • Experience reviewing production documentation and maintaining records in accordance with retention policies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and manufacturing systems such as SAP
  • Ability to analyze process and laboratory data to support operational decision‑making
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience working with production equipment and material handling tools
  • Ability to work onsite during evening shift hours (7:30 AM to 4:00 PM - Monday through Friday)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with inventory control, backflushing, and production planning systems
  • Exposure to analytical lab equipment such as particle size analyzers, pH meters, or densitometers
