About The Position

The Production Supervisor at Eglin AFB is responsible for acting as the production representative and liaison with a Government Customer, directing the overall maintenance efforts to meet contract obligations. This role requires familiarity with management principles related to production and personnel management, as well as knowledge of the Air Force supply system and logistics. The supervisor coordinates shop workloads, ensures timely maintenance, and promotes a culture of safety and compliance within the team.

Requirements

• Must possess current valid DOD Secret Security Clearance.
• Minimum of four years' experience on assigned MDS aircraft (F-15C/D/E, or F-16 all Blocks desired) or comparable Maintenance Squadron back shop experience.
• Working knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, etc.).
• Broad working knowledge of Air Force, Command and Local directives.
• Excellent people skills and ability to deal with conflict resolution.
• Ability to communicate with Military, Civilian Service, Contractor Personnel, and Union Employees.
• Extensive military background in aircraft maintenance is desirable.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Act as the production representative and liaison with a Government Customer.
• Direct the overall maintenance effort to meet contract obligations.
• Coordinate shop workloads and set priorities for maintenance tasks.
• Ensure scheduled maintenance is accomplished on-time.
• Provide technical oversight on tasks utilizing established company guidelines and/or Government directives.
• Conduct follow-up actions and communicate with the Government customer for feedback and updates.
• Participate in maintenance and shared resource meetings, including daily and weekly production meetings.
• Discuss strategies with the management team for unusual situations requiring overtime or personnel adjustments.
• Request medical assistance for injured employees and initiate incident reports.
• Resolve customer-related production issues.
