Requirements

  • 3+ years leadership experience required.
  • Paint Shop experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Uses 5S as the standard.
  • Real Time Management, setup of process and utilization.
  • Understands standardized work.
  • Ability to coach and train team members.
  • Lean manufacturing (TPS experience).
  • Andon, purpose and utilization.
  • Problem solving experience.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and methods.
  • Ability to perform audits.
  • Strong communication skills, demonstrates ability to effectively resolve conflicts and collaborate across various functions and teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high performing team within Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management.
  • Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating team members.
  • Foster the growth and development of team members to help them reach their full potential.
  • Drive the training strategy for your team, ensuring the necessary skill sets and competencies are developed.
  • Provide consistent coaching and feedback to cultivate a high-performance culture.
  • Ensure and take full ownership of team performance, driving improvements and managing outcomes related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Financials and Environmental (SQDF&E) targets.
  • Act as the first responder to your team’s needs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Identify areas for growth and work with team members to build skills, competencies, and engagement.
  • Identify key metrics for Real Time Management and effectively manage and execute strategies.
  • Operate and enforce company compliance standards, terms and instructions.
  • Lead the team to engage and verify that planned actions are in place and followed to reach team targets.
  • Create a motivational environment and recognize team achievements.
  • Monitor, coach and train Standardized Work to ensure consistency and quality.
