About The Position
As a Production Supervisor at 3M, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. This is a set 3rd shift opening, where you will ensure a safe working environment utilizing proper work methods, procedures and equipment. You will provide direct supervision to production hourly employees, evaluate employee performance, and provide feedback. Additionally, you will plan daily work schedules, determine priorities, allocate work assignments, and regulate production processes to meet specific daily production requirements. You will also handle shift administrative activities such as time/absence reporting, attendance control, vacation planning, and overtime. Your role will involve driving continuous improvement in safety, productivity, quality, and spending, as well as championing lean manufacturing efforts and projects.
