About The Position

As a Production Supervisor at KDP, you are empowered to drive best in class results. You have responsibility for the overall operating performance of the production process on your shift. You will provide leadership and direction for your team in a manufacturing facility that operates multiple high speed production lines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment; food & beverage industry preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, TQM, and visual/pull systems.
  • Strong data-driven decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to provide actionable feedback and coaching.
  • Skilled in delivering group presentations to employees and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and ensure a safe working environment and foster a strong safety culture.
  • Supervise a team of 20+ production employees, including full-time and temporary staff.
  • Hire, schedule, and develop frontline employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, ergonomic standards, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain and enforce standardized operating procedures and training programs.
  • Oversee adherence to quality standards and ensure all quality protocols are followed.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Facilities to drive improvements and cost savings.
  • Monitor and report shift productivity metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage production costs using lean manufacturing techniques and effective cross-training.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy by upholding inventory control procedures.
  • Conduct timely quarterly and annual performance reviews.
  • Act as a key contact for food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Guarantee the production of safe, high-quality, and compliant products, including assigning trained designees when needed.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
