About The Position

The Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift at Perdue Farms is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of production associates to ensure that production and quality standards are met in a safe and efficient manner. This role emphasizes the importance of maintaining positive working relationships within the production team and supports the company's goals related to people, products, profitability, and sustainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related discipline.
• 0-3 years of work experience in a supervisory role.
• Computer literate with skills in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with industry procedures such as HACCP and SPC.
• Proven track record of leading people and achieving results.
• Ability to organize multiple protocols/projects and complete them on schedule.
• Strong customer orientation and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the poultry industry or food processing environment.

Responsibilities

• Trains, directs, and develops subordinates to meet operating, safety, and quality requirements.
• Supervises production staff to ensure product quality and integrity, ensuring all finished products meet or exceed customer requirements.
• Creates and maintains an environment conducive to retaining associates.
• Consistently administers company policies and procedures.
• Supports and promotes the company's annual goals through effective planning, communication, coaching, and training.
• Creates and implements new ideas and methods to improve production efficiencies.
