About The Position

The Production Supervisor-Litchfield serves in a key leadership role and is responsible for directing and supervising the nightly production activities to ensure that customer and company requirements are met. Working closely with the Production Manager and Litchfield support teams, this role champions organizational culture and employee development while driving operational excellence in safety, quality, scheduling, attendance, and process improvement.

Requirements

• Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to work night hours up to 10-hour shifts.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Previous work experience with an ERP system.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2nd shift Production team in operational areas of quality, scheduling, attendance, production, line layout and process improvement.
• Coordinate optimum work schedules/workflow, coaching, developing employees, monitoring staff performance, maintaining open communications, and fostering teamwork.
• Enforce safety procedures, identify hazards, lead safety training, and coordinate equipment maintenance.
• Promote a safety culture and maintain company compliance/OSHA requirements.
• Identify, support, and develop talent to maximize individual, team and organizational effectiveness in meeting company goals.
• Monitor product quality, implement quality control measures, and ensure products meet standards.
• Identify and resolve production issues, improve processes for efficiency, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare production reports, track metrics, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Oversee inventory levels, ensure proper use of materials and equipment, and coordinate with other departments like procurement.
