About The Position

The position involves supervising shifts while planning, producing, or shipping fiberglass products as scheduled. The supervisor is responsible for attaining production or shipping goals as specified by the Plant Manager and motivating employees to maximize their efforts in a professional manner. Ensuring compliance with safety procedures, maintaining weekly employee attendance records, and holding departmental meetings to discuss updates or changes in company policies are also key responsibilities. The supervisor must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures, including HSE and Quality policies. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in all aspects of the manufacturing process
• Forklift license

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift while planning, producing, or shipping fiberglass products as scheduled
• Attain production or shipping goals as specified by Plant Manager
• Motivate employees to give maximum efforts in a professional manner
• Ensure that all safety procedures are being followed
• Maintain weekly employee attendance records
• Maintain accurate production, inventory or shipping data
• Hold departmental meetings as needed to discuss updates and/or changes in company policies, procedures, goals, etc.
• Wear appropriate PPE
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
