About The Position

The Production Supervisor plays a critical role in the successful operation of the manufacturing facility at Cytiva, part of Danaher Corporation. This position is responsible for developing a team culture focused on employee engagement and operational execution, ensuring safety, quality, and performance metrics are met. The Supervisor oversees all aspects of the manufacturing area, including hiring, training, and managing staff, while implementing processes to maximize performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Management (Engineering preferred).
• Minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least three years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Basic knowledge of accounting and financial practices in operations.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices and Kaizen events.
• Computer literacy in MS Office and ERP Systems (SAP preferred).
• Experience in a regulated environment (ISO, FDA, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of associates in production areas.
• Develop and uphold performance metrics for all areas of responsibility.
• Guide teams in attaining Value Stream, Site-specific, and Corporate KPIs.
• Foster continuous improvement by implementing Danaher Business System tools.
• Confirm quality in daily work, ensuring high-quality products meet customer specifications.
• Coach the team to comply with regulatory guidelines and maintain certifications.
• Integrate cross-functional resources to modernize facilities and enhance operations.
• Engage with leadership to formulate plans for improving safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.
• Accountable for daily schedule meeting rates and On-Time Delivery (OTD) requirements.
• Problem solve for OTD misses, including root cause investigation and implementing countermeasures.
