About The Position

Position at JBS USA Cut Floor Superintendent Division/Department: Pork Location: Marshalltown, Iowa Job title : 2 nd shift Cut Floor Superintendent Reports to: Sh ift Plant Manager Nonexempt Hourly Rate: Salary grade Exempt Type of position: Full-time Shift 2 nd Hours: Need to be flexible Hours will vary General Description: Oversee entire cut floor production and coolers . Direct supervisors with respect to safety, food safety, efficiency, production volume, quality, cost and meeting production schedules and delivery dates. Train and develop supervisors to provide management depth and develop team work to attain department objectives. Re view daily production schedule to plan work and personnel assignments. Monitor and confirm that machinery, equipment and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized daily . Maintain good employee relations and adherence to labor contract provisions. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of products
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Extensive knowledge and technical skill in a variety of production jobs
• Minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience in processing plant industry
• High school diploma or GED equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Bi-lingual helpful but not required
• College training preferred
