Job Summary: We are seeking an Evening Production Superintendent to ensure safe operations, optimizing workflow, troubleshooting issues and meeting production targets while controlling costs. The responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Maintain a safe work environment through cultural development, behavior-based safety, and adherence to Work Instructions, RCA on safety incidents and near misses, and completion of safety observations. · Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity, production shortfalls, and operating concerns for remediation. · Mentor and evaluate the performance of operations staff. · Ensures adherence to/compliance with company policies, rules and regulations relating to safety/health, performance standards, operating procedures, processes, and training requirements. · Use lean manufacturing methodologies to identify bottlenecks and implement initiatives · Work with other departments (Safety, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance) to resolve issues and improve operations. · Serve as resource for operational leads in problem solving and escalation of issues.
