About The Position

The Production Specialist position at Marana Group involves preparing mailings and shipments for processing and delivery. The position is full-time, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, and offers a starting wage of $15 per hour, subject to review after 90 days.

Requirements

• Less than high school education or up to one month of related experience or training.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a solid work history in customer service and sales support.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to become proficient with industry-specific software and applications after training.

Responsibilities

• Assemble boxes, tubes, or other containers for mailings or shipments.
• Manually fold, insert, and separate pieces by vendor specifications for non-machineable items.
• Separate pieces by weight and service classification for postage metering.
• Maintain daily job processing logs and ensure accuracy in work documentation.
• Initialize machines and ancillary equipment according to training guidelines.
• Separate mail by client name and account number for proper billing and tracking.
• Remove mail from bins during machine operation and place it in identified containers.
• Participate in subsequent pass sortation to ensure proper handling of mail.
• Complete Postal Service documentation as required.
• Load and unload Postal Service carriers and company vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Observe machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions and take corrective action.
• Perform daily minor machine maintenance and maintain a clean work area.
