To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Production Specialist located in Buffalo Grove, IL. Reporting to the Associate Production Supervisor, the Production Specialist role involves being responsible for a variety of complex operations and duties in a production area. The working hours for this position are from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on a rotating shift. A typical day for a Production Specialist includes developing, maintaining, and improving assembly processes within their area of responsibility. This role requires evaluating process specifications periodically to ensure they accurately reflect the process requirements, reviewing process steps, and reducing inefficiencies. The Production Specialist will collaborate with Quality Engineers on process improvement, monitoring tools, root causes, and corrective actions. They will drive production schedules and resolve process-related problems, assist in compliance with safety regulations such as ISO and business controls, and provide production-ready documentation with equipment setup and programs. Additionally, the Production Specialist will lead the team in making process and efficiency improvements, handle first calls in non-maintenance down issues, monitor equipment performance, and assist operators by answering questions and demonstrating operations. Spot checking products to ensure quality levels are maintained is also a key responsibility.
