Production Specialist - Day Shift - We Will Train You!
About The Position

At MPP, you'll be part of a team that uses state-of-the-art technology to create components that power some of the most recognizable aircraft in the world, including the Boeing 737 MAX, the Airbus A320neo, and other commercial aircraft. Job Summary: The individual will spend time each day creating “kits” of raw materials required to fabricate aerospace products based off of the production schedule. This role will also support operation functions that include processes such as tube cutting, polishing, cleaning, and deburring tubes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, speak English.
- US Person Status (see Employment Eligibility)
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Obtaining daily production schedules and identifying the required raw materials for the quantity scheduled to run
- Locating the necessary raw materials, pulling them from their location and recording the transaction in the ERP system
- Packaging these items needed for production runs into a container/bag as a kit
- Moving packaged kits to their respective areas for production lines
- Operate a chop saw, sander, grinder, dynafile, XRF, etc.
- Form, clean, cold work, polish, and inspect product using fixtures, jigs, shop aids, etc. to meet requirements
- Follows written work instructions and tech cards.
- Must comply with all safety requirements.
- Maintains operator maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Keeps work area clean and free from debris
