What does a Production/QC Flex Specialist do? Assist the QC Flex Manager by actively coordinating production, machinery, and training efforts to ensure the timely completion of tasks. Revise job sheets to enhance safety, quality, and clarity of process steps. Collaborate with staff to efficiently organize and track training and activities. Participate in staffing meetings, provide supervision, and proactively schedule training and production tasks. Coordinate materials, equipment, and supplies, perform machinery maintenance, and oversee inventory management. Support time studies and bidding processes to ensure proper cost margins are maintained—foster customer satisfaction through effective communication and high-quality work. Keep comprehensive production records for payroll, job costing, and billing purposes. Promote a safe, clean, and organized workspace by adhering to safety protocols. Operate equipment safely during materials movement. Assist with document destruction in compliance with NAID guidelines to meet audit requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Successful passing of pre-employment drug test; successful passing of random drug tests.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate total project efforts.
  • Production and computer experience required.
  • Mechanical and mathematical aptitude required.
  • Strength and flexibility to perform production work. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand/work on feet for 90% or more of the scheduled shift.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Satisfactory completion of forklift certification before or within 60 days of employment.
  • DSP (Direct Support Professional) certification is preferred; obtaining it within 120 days of employment is required.
