About The Position

The position is responsible for ensuring that customer checks and vouchers are printed, packaged, and delivered correctly and in a timely manner. This includes sorting, scanning, and labeling payrolls for delivery, as well as operating inserters and maintaining effective communication with team members and management. The role requires attention to detail and a commitment to adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or GED.
  • 6 months of packaging, distribution, or clerical related experience.
  • Good typing skills.
  • Good telephone skills.
  • Well organized with attention to detail.
  • Cooperative and willing to work with others.
  • Customer-friendly attitude.
  • Ability to use computer applications, copier, printer, and telephone.
  • Ability to safely operate a manual pallet jack.
  • Insert Machine experience.

Responsibilities

  • Sorts, scans, and labels payrolls for delivery.
  • Pulls reports and checks from printers and sorts them in preparation for stuffing.
  • Packages and labels customer reports and checks according to delivery instructions.
  • Checks addresses in Fed-Ex or UPS and compares them to Print Utility to ensure correct delivery of payrolls.
  • Informs Manager or Specialist of any incorrect addresses.
  • Operates the Inserters and learns all aspects of the inserter for efficient operation.
  • Stuffs checks while keeping them in the same order as printed.
  • Takes responsibility for check counts and packages checks into correct pre-labeled packaging.
  • Places packages in correct tubs to ensure proper delivery.
  • Maintains work areas and equipment, restocking printers and performing maintenance as necessary.
  • Keeps workspace organized and disposes of empty boxes and trash at the end of the day.
  • Establishes and maintains effective communication with Paycom Production personnel and Team Lead.
  • Assists other Paycom associates as needed and keeps management informed of area activities and significant customer problems.
  • Attends and participates in meetings as required, maintaining a positive attitude with all personnel and management.
  • Assists management with special projects, including quarter-end and year-end processing, and works additional hours as required to complete projects on time.
  • Completes learning and training as assigned and performs other duties as assigned.
