About The Position

The Production Specialist at Raytheon plays a crucial role in optimizing the cost, quality, and schedule requirements of the Advanced Electronics Subassembly (AES) manufacturing area. This position involves leading projects that enhance manufacturing processes, facilitate collaboration across functions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The Specialist will also manage equipment calibration and support safety and improvement initiatives within the factory environment.

Requirements

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience.
• Less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to optimize cost, quality, and schedule in the AES manufacturing area.
• Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams during daily meetings.
• Act as a calibration champion managing over 5,000 pieces of equipment.
• Drive safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage office supply inventory within budget constraints.
• Support infrastructure facility planning for high-volume automation equipment.
• Drive area re-layouts to support the current product portfolio.
