We are seeking a "new-bee" to join our Production team and assist with our food processing and packaging of our quality, food ingredients such as: honey, oils, and liquid sweeteners. As a Production Specialist, you'll work at our Production Facility located at 1680 Irving Road Eugene OR. A typical work week of the Production team is Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM or Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM - SOME OVERTIME MAY BE REQUIRED.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or the equivalent
  • Ability to safely operate various pieces of equipment and hand tools
  • Basic math and writing skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Positive attitude and a team player
  • Dependability and punctuality
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a food production setting is helpful but not required, we provide training!

Responsibilities

  • Processes, repackages and manufactures products according to written procedures
  • Follows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) requirements and safety procedures.
  • Operates production equipment as needed safely and efficiently (fillers, scales, pumps)
  • Follows GloryBee Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) requirements
  • Accurately completes required paperwork for work orders and certifications (Safe Quality Food (SQF), Quality Assurance International (QAI), Kosher, etc.)
  • Follows sustainable practices outlined by department leadership.
  • Recycles and composts correctly in the appropriate containers
  • Communicates innovative ideas that increase efficiency, saves resources or lessens environmental impact
  • Embraces and participates in department Lean initiatives
