About The Position

Gotion Inc. is based in Silicon Valley, CA, currently building a Manufacturing facility in Manteno, IL and has R&D centers in Ohio, China, Japan and Europe. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field required
• Bilingual in English and Chinese for international team cooperation
• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment
• Familiarity with manufacturing safety protocols and basic quality control
• Ability to read blueprints, follow work instructions, and use measurement tools
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems (ERP/MES experience is a plus)
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative work ethic

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment to meet daily output and quality targets
• Follow production instructions and report any process deviations or equipment issues
• Perform in-process inspections using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
• Adhere strictly to company safety policies and OSHA regulations
• Support troubleshooting activities in collaboration with engineering and maintenance teams
• Help implement 5S standards and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Participate in Lean, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist in onboarding and mentoring new team members
