About The Position

The Trainer role at Flex is designed to support the manufacturing operations by training Production Specialists and ensuring adherence to process specifications. This position is crucial for maintaining efficiency on the manufacturing floor and involves collaboration with Quality Engineers to implement process improvements. The Trainer will also assist in preventative maintenance and minor repairs of production machinery, contributing to the overall growth and success of the team.

Requirements

• Ability to use a variety of manufacturing equipment and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as electronic work instructions, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information in small group situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to use and operate computers for basic tasks.
• Ability to log in to and navigate Flex computer systems and access electronic work instructions.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Ability to write and maintain routine reports, records, and correspondences.

Responsibilities

• Perform all accountabilities of a Production Specialist 1 and 2 when needed.
• Train Production Specialists 1 and 2 on various manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Evaluate process specifications to ensure accurate reflection of process requirements.
• Review process steps to identify and reduce inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers on process improvements and corrective actions.
• Assist operators by answering questions and demonstrating operations.
• Assist in performing preventative maintenance and minor repair work on production machinery.
