About The Position

As a Production Specialist, you will read, evaluate, and interpret manufacturing and quality control documents, technical procedures, and government regulations that are crucial for a successful process. Our Production Supervisors are trained to discover and acknowledge your areas of interest and success, so you will have the opportunity to cross train in multiple work centers and gain new skills that can help you advance in your career! Being a Production Specialist at IDEXX, you will make a difference in people's and animals' lives by working on innovative products. In this role, you will be part of our manufacturing team that produces high-quality animal diagnostics devices used by veterinarians worldwide. Requirements

• Willingness to learn about IDEXX and the industry.
• High School diploma or equivalent, or some experience in a similar role.
• Basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Some manufacturing or production experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of machines including set-up operation, clean-up, changeover, troubleshooting, and minor repair for manufacturing equipment.
• Support team members and optimize production processes.
• Provide training to other teammates based on performance.
