About The Position

The Production Shipping/Receiving Clerk at Cardinal Equipment Services is responsible for the safe shipping and receiving of beverage dispensing equipment, including soda fountains and vending machine payment systems. This role involves working as part of a team to ensure that products are accurately verified, sorted, packaged, and shipped to customers, while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • Strong hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to read, speak and write English and follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Moderate computer skills and the ability to learn and operate the company computer system, SAP experience a plus.
  • Ability to use a pallet jack, forklift experience a plus.
  • Follow direction of team leadership.
  • Ability to use good judgement and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Follow instructions based on customer and company requirements.
  • Verify and receive products as they enter the facility.
  • Assist in unloading trucks.
  • Sort products by product type, verify counts, and enter information into company computer system.
  • Package and ship products to customers using FedEx, UPS and LTL.
  • Create shipping labels and verify information.
  • Work as a team to meet company targets.
  • Assist with on-the-job training and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clear, safe and orderly condition.
