Job Summary: We are seeking a diligent and committed Production Shipper/Packer to join our Veterans Affairs Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (VA CMOP) team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely and secure delivery of medical prescriptions to our esteemed military veterans.
Requirements
- At least one (1) year of relevant work experience; prior roles in packing, production, stocking, assembly, cashiering, or similar fields.
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal residency.
- Minimum age of 18 years with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be able to pass background check
- Must be able to pass preemployment and random drug screen – this includes THC/Marijuana
Responsibilities
- Accurate scanning of prescription barcodes.
- Ensuring prescriptions are placed into appropriately sized mailing containers.
- Inserting patient refill documentation and return address labels into packages.
- Utilizing packing materials to safeguard contents against damage or spillage.
- Securely sealing containers for shipment.
- Affixing address labels and forwarding completed orders for dispatch.
- Stock management and maintaining an orderly work environment.
