About The Position

Revolution is seeking a Night-Shift Supervisor to join its team at a leading manufacturing organization in the Dallas, TX area. Here is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a challenging opportunity within a growing company. This person will plan, organize, and control the production in our organization to ensure that items are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, and to standard and provide positive and proactive leadership to all employees. Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) is required.

Requirements

  • High school degree / GED and proven experience in an industrial / manufacturing setting required.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing management, production operations, or similar industry.
  • Excellent analytic skills required; Lean manufacturing preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate people, assess and develop employee skills.
  • Operate with the highest ethical standards.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Conflict management skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance.
  • Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between relevant departments, including procurement, distribution, and management.
  • Ensure production goals are met and implement cost control programs.
  • Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement
  • Prepare and maintain production reports.
  • Know and understand the safety hazards of your work area.
  • Obey and follow all the Good Manufacture Practices as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Ensure product meets quality standards.
  • Ensure all scrap is being weighed and reported.
  • Read Production Orders and understand Specifications.
  • Review schedule and set daily production goals.
  • Monitor all production – rates, and scrap.
  • Monitor training for new hires.
  • Schedule overtime as needed to cover shifts.
  • Approve employee time cards.
  • Review performance of staff.
  • Periodically perform inventory checks for packaging and raw material supplies to purchases.
  • Provide breaks as needed to Team Leaders.
  • Document machine rates and report via email mid-shift and end of day report.
