As a Production Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for safely manufacturing quality products through the efficient use of manpower, materials, and equipment. The Production Shift Supervisor directs the activities of the extrusion, converting, and packing departments; promotes safe work practices, maintains production schedules and record keeping, and ensures quality standards are met. This position plans work, makes assignments, assists in the hiring process, trains new employees, and administers company policies consistently. The shifts are from 8pm to 8am on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing
  • Strong & effective leadership; ability to motivate teams
  • Individual coaching, performance management
  • Dedication to Quality Management System
  • Proven track record of meeting quantitative metrics
  • Safety, Production, Scrap and Quality goals
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Excel skills ability to chart, graph, track inventory
  • Cont. Improvement - create and implement projects
  • Blueprint Reading / Mechanical

Nice To Haves

  • College Degree Preferred
  • PE Blown Film experience preferred
