Production Shift Supervisor- C shift

Alliance Precision Plastics, a custom injection molder, seeks an off-shift Production Department Supervisor. The supervisor will assure that customer demands are met through quality and delivery. This role involves maintaining necessary paperwork and reporting requirements, including but not limited to production reports, employee timesheets and attendance records, documentation and corrective actions. The supervisor will consult and coordinate with management in matters involving production needs and demands, evaluate staffing needs and manage accordingly. Effective communication and interaction with employees are essential to ensure understanding and accurate transfer of information. The supervisor will ensure operators perform jobs correctly and effectively on a daily basis, participate in the development of work instructions/cycle times for assembly jobs, and perform duties regularly in production areas of the plant(s) in a 'hands-on' capacity. Responsibilities also include quality control, making adjustments as necessary to produce product within product specification parameters, addressing personnel issues, and maintaining a high morale workplace with the highest ethical standards. The supervisor must maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices, support and participate in new projects, and interact with other departments such as Shipping, Molding, Quality, and Engineering. Confidentiality is crucial, and the supervisor must be able to work the hours necessary to meet position requirements, leading by example and performing other related duties as assigned.
