Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of supervisory experience.
  • SAP experience is desired.
  • Computer knowledge is essential.
  • Team-oriented individual with ability to influence.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Bias for action.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop team members to achieve outstanding manufacturing performance while enhancing teamwork.
  • Coordinate daily production activities to meet business objectives.
  • Ensure effective employee relations and champion a positive work environment.
  • Provide employee coaching, corrective action, and development.
  • Make employment decisions and resolve employee issues through problem resolution.
  • Provide direct leadership to the production department including Supervisors.
  • Exhibit working knowledge of in-plant and regulatory audits and inspections.
  • Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results.
  • Lead groups in the identification and resolution of root cause when solving problems.
  • Strictly adhere to Corporate and/or Plant Policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Assist in the training and development of production employees.
  • Ensure compliance to GMP's, housekeeping, sanitation standards, and product handling.
  • Provide visible safety leadership by investigating incidents thoroughly.
  • Plan and direct production activities and effectively communicate production priorities.
  • Lead continuous improvement activities consistent with plant approach.
