About The Position

You will play a vital role in safeguarding global food safety as a Production Scientist, Microbiology with Romer Labs. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for manufacturing and assembling key components and final products for strip, plate, and phage production, ensuring full compliance with ISO and cGMP standards. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in scientific field
• Experience in immunology-type production; lateral flow devices; antibody-based production; microbiology
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical skills a plus
• Weights and measures experience

Responsibilities

• Manufacture liquid and dry components required for kits
• Perform quality control checks on all aspects of manufacturing
• Update relevant SOP’s as needed. Fill out documents under ISO 9001 guidelines
• Run key pieces of manufacturing equipment as needed
• Work with R&D to successfully transfer new products from development to production
