Requirements

  • Supply Chain degree or 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong proficiency and experience with scheduled planning in SAP.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to create and understand reports to make production decisions.
  • Desire to promote the success of the organization and production and planning staff.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Willingness and ability to challenge data and drive results.
  • Ability to learn systems quickly.
  • Ability to analyze various data sets.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all duties in accordance with company and site-specific safety policies and procedures.
  • Create and maintain short term production schedules weekly and out months 1, 2 and 3.
  • Assign labor and resources in the most effective manner.
  • Assist with updating current tools as plant moves from legacy planning system to SAP environment.
  • Provide quick responses to production resource issues.
  • Identify problems and help improve processes.
  • Use available software to generate reports and schedules.
  • Ensure that production deadlines are met.
  • Support Short Term Capacity Planning including working with Production and Planning teams to develop realistic production plans.
  • Host Weekly/Monthly Supply Review meetings with management team.
  • Be a key contributor to SAP implementation including assisting with scheduling design template to ensure seamless information transfer between systems.
  • Work closely with production and SAP teams to align on required master data for resources and labor.
  • Support the successful cleanse of master data prior to load.
  • Assist with report development using SAP data and Excel.
  • Work with the planning department to understand the timing of components delivery.
