About The Position

The Production Scheduler at Mercury Electronics is responsible for overseeing the production status of customer orders and materials, ensuring timely completion and shipping. This role requires collaboration with various teams to maintain schedules and expedite orders, while also managing documentation and special projects in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • One to two years of related experience and/or training in manufacturing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to communicate appropriately with different levels of employees, from production employees to the President.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate technical data clearly (both in writing and verbally).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize work.
  • Basic math skills and ability to read tape measures and rulers accurately.
  • General knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures such as managing files and records, use of desktop computers, and common office equipment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working for contract manufacturing companies.
  • Ability to read and fully understand many different forms of documentation including assembly drawings, schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, job orders, and other forms of documentation.
  • Ability to understand electrical drawings and schematics and apply to electrical assembly details.

Responsibilities

  • Review and maintain the production status of customer orders and materials for those orders.
  • Collaborate with production team leaders, materials group, and purchasing to determine progress of work and completion dates, then provide sales with dates of completion.
  • Expedite customer orders and materials for those orders.
  • Maintain customer shipping schedules for production, inspection, and shipping.
  • Maintain web-based status of customer orders.
  • Maintain records of order re-schedules from customers.
  • Create spreadsheets, letters, forms, and other documents.
  • Complete special assignments and projects.
