About The Position

This position is integral to optimizing production efficiency. It involves supporting the production planning process, ensuring schedules are accurately finalized and executed to meet operational objectives and customer demand, and maintaining a smooth, coordinated workflow across all production activities. In this role you'll make an impact by:

Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years of production scheduling experience preferred
  • Very strong office software skills and ability to quickly learn and gain proficiency in the company's ERP System
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate information, both orally and written, and respond to questions from managers and other employees in a professional manner
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Strong ability to problem solve
  • Ability to effectively manage time to meet targets and deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • SAP experience preferred
  • 4+ years of production scheduling experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Creating process orders and production schedule.
  • Releasing production orders and cleaning orders to meet daily schedule.
  • Printing process order journals and picking list to meet daily production schedule.
  • Monitoring production components, and processing orders from start to completion to meet on time delivery goals.
  • Coordinating reformulations, substitutions and generating NCR's.
  • Collaborating with procurement to reduce aging materials.
  • Preparing and maintaining reports to ensure accurate information pertaining to each process order, trials, stability samples, and planned downtime.
  • Coordinating sales orders change requests.
  • Keeping up to date Factory calendar in SAP.
  • Communicating production schedule plans to production support groups.
  • Leading meetings to communicate the production schedule and priorities.
  • Developing/assisting with plans for streamlining processes to improve process flow amongst production activities.
  • Coordinating and following up outsourced orders.
  • Acting as back up for Scheduler Manager.
