About The Position

dormakaba is seeking a Production Scheduler based in Indianapolis, IN. The Production Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining a short-term production schedule that supports customer demand, supply plans, and manufacturing efficiency. HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $60,000 - $85,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Requirements

3+ years of experience in production scheduling, planning, or manufacturing operations
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems; working knowledge of scheduling and order management

Nice To Haves

SAP experience
Associate's or bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations, or a related field
CPIM or CSCP certifications

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a short-term production schedule that balances customer demand, planned supply, and operational efficiency
Lead weekly production scheduling review meetings to ensure alignment across Production, Procurement, and Customer Service teams
Resolve MRP exception messages promptly and communicate unresolved issues to the appropriate stakeholders for action
Sequence production orders to support efficient manufacturing flow and minimize changeovers and downtime, including development of Replenishment Strategies (Push/Pull/Flow)
Maintain scheduling-related master data, such as lead times and capacity constraints, to support accurate system planning
