About The Position

The Production Scheduling Clerk supports the Production Planner in coordinating daily production activities by maintaining accurate scheduling data, work orders, and system records. This role ensures production schedules, inventory transactions, and operational data remain accurate and up to date in LillyWorks and supporting tools. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work across multiple departments to support efficient production operations.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to navigate and manage multiple Excel files and reports.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-department coordination.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and operational processes.
  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, manufacturing, or production environments.
  • Familiarity with ERP or manufacturing systems such as LillyWorks or similar platforms.
  • Experience with scheduling, demand planning, or production reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Production Planner in maintaining and updating production schedules and scheduling tools.
  • Create, update, and maintain work orders within the LillyWorks system.
  • Generate and maintain Excel reports related to production scheduling, inventory, and operational performance.
  • Utilize demand planning tools to support scheduling decisions and production flow.
  • Monitor live machine status and production progress, reporting issues or delays as they arise.
  • Perform routine data entry and maintain accurate operational records.
  • Complete required forms, logs, and documentation to support production tracking and reporting.
  • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies through system analysis and collaboration with inventory management teams.
  • Assist with inventory audits, cycle counts, and occasional physical inventory activities.
  • Coordinate with multiple departments including Inventory Management, Purchasing, Shop Floor personnel, Saw Operations, Continuous Improvement, QA/QC, and other support functions.
  • Work with field service personnel and internal teams to ensure accurate inventory transactions and system integrity within LillyWorks.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to scheduling accuracy, inventory control, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify and communicate operational issues impacting production schedules.
