About The Position

Position Summary: The Manufacturing Scheduler will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining production schedules to meet customer delivery deadlines and optimize manufacturing efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in plastic injection molding or mold manufacturing environments and strong skills in planning, organization, and communication. Key Responsibilities: Create and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, machine availability, and capacity. Coordinate with production, engineering, purchasing, and quality teams to ensure timely availability of molds, materials, and resources. Monitor workflow and adjust schedules to accommodate changes, delays, or rush orders. Track and report production progress, identifying bottlenecks and recommending efficiency improvements. Communicate schedule updates and changes clearly to all relevant departments. Assist in developing and implementing scheduling best practices and continuous improvement initiatives. Use ERP/MRP systems to manage and update production schedules. Support project management activities for new mold builds, repairs, and maintenance. Utilize strong Excel skills for scheduling and analysis. Apply CMS and AMES system knowledge as needed. Maintain flexible working hours and availability beyond normal business hours. Demonstrate excellent attendance and reliability. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in production scheduling within a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastic molding or tooling.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, mold builds, and injection molding operations.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP software systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
  • Knowledge of ISO quality standards.
  • Familiarity with CAD drawings and mold design terminology.
