The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties; however, it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned. The Production Scheduler demonstrates commitment to safety and performs job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures. They should be aware of their responsibilities and their accountability is clearly defined for key staff involved with product safety, legality, and quality systems. The role involves reviewing individual orders to determine the best method of producing the job, converting sales orders/planned orders in SAP to production orders, and ensuring all necessary information is documented for efficient job production. The Production Scheduler will also communicate with customer service regarding any discrepancies and will actively participate in the sale, disposal, or consumption of aged material.
