The Production Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and revising make sheets that detail the amount and type of product to be made, ensuring they are delivered to the appropriate personnel. The role involves updating the inventory list of available products and aged inventory, utilizing frozen product storage, and arranging for the scheduling of frozen product deliveries. The Production Scheduler will troubleshoot problems and concerns from the corporate office and sales, and arrange for appropriate reports to be faxed or delivered to the corporate office daily. Close collaboration with plant management is essential to notify them of changes, keep them apprised of problems, and tour the production floor to maintain familiarity with operations and ensure a thorough understanding of production and products. Attendance at scheduled or called meetings is also required.
