About The Position

Responsible for planning and scheduling production activities by coordinating
with Sales, Production, Purchasing, QA, and Customer Service to ensure efficient
workflow and on-time order fulfillment. Prepares forecasts and production
documentation to support operational accuracy and material readiness.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Five (5) years of experience is required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong scheduling and inventory knowledge, along with effective communication, time management, and organizational skills, which are essential to meeting key responsibilities.
• Understand spreadsheets, including Excel.
• Working knowledge of AS400 and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to align production schedules with customer forecasts and adjust capacity planning accordingly.
• Partner with the production team to optimize order scheduling, ensuring efficient workflow and maximizing productivity.
• Coordinates with purchasing to secure the timely availability of materials necessary to meet production timelines.
• Works closely with quality assurance and line managers to schedule sample runs, ensuring production meets the required specifications.
• Communicate with customer service to manage order changes and ensure alignment with customer expectations.
• Forecasts monthly production volumes based on current schedules and customer demand.
• Prepares and distributes job packets and pallet tags for scheduled production orders.
• Supports the purchasing manager in ordering aluminum and other raw materials.
