Production Robot Operator

Darigold is seeking a dedicated Production Robot Operator to join our production team in Boise, ID. In this role, you will be responsible for the palletizing of cottage cheese and sour cream, as well as hand stacking products as required. You will pull packaging materials for use and safely operate the palletizer and shrink wrap machine. Additionally, you will operate a forklift and powered pallet jack to load products for transfer to the Market Street Warehouse. It is crucial to ensure that the robot operates efficiently at all times, and you will work closely with filler operators and caser operators to maintain production flow. Your responsibilities will also include printing and validating batch packets, bills of lading, and operating scan guns. You will conduct trailer inspections via Safety Chain and verify that all data and documentation are accurate. Checking products for correct code dates and label identification is essential, as is keeping your supervisor and maintenance informed of any mechanical issues. You will be responsible for minimizing losses of packaging materials and other materials used in your job function, and you must inspect equipment prior to production setup and during production to report any mechanical deficiencies. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is a priority, and you will need to work with required sanitation chemicals. Effective communication within the Culture department is necessary to foster a positive work environment. You will complete preventive maintenance tasks and other environmental responsibilities as assigned, while adhering to all safety and quality assurance practices. Supporting coworkers running other culture machines may also be required, along with other duties assigned by leads, supervisors, or managers.
