About The Position

As a Production & RMA Technician, you’ll be at the heart of delivering high-quality ConnectDER products to our customers. From precision assembly and calibration to thorough testing, you’ll ensure every product performs as designed. You’ll also lead the evaluation and resolution of returned units, turning field feedback into actionable improvements that strengthen our products.

Requirements

  • Experience using electronic test equipment (relevant experience gained through technical school, work program, or internship is acceptable).
  • High attention to detail and strong adherence to established processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document problems and propose effective solutions.
  • Proactive attitude and strong problem-solving capabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in an electronics repair/assembly or contract manufacturing setting.
  • Previous experience in fabrication and assembly production environment.
  • Prior training & knowledge of basic electronics and/or electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Experience reading and understanding technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.
  • Soldering and SMT/TH rework and assembly following IPC standards.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office and Google Suite products.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble product components and subcomponents.
  • Conduct quality inspections of completed units following pre-defined standards.
  • Calibrate units for accuracy using in-house equipment.
  • Execute production tests as required.
  • Program and test electronic assemblies.
  • Perform PCB inspections, assembly and rework.
  • Produce and maintain quality control documentation.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Package completed units for shipping.
  • Support warehouse and inventory areas for efficient material storage and handling.
  • Maintain professional cleanliness and organization of the production work area.
  • Support shipping, receiving, and processing of RMA units, ensuring efficient execution of quality and fulfillment processes.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team on evaluating, troubleshooting, and diagnosing units.
  • Document defects, process failures, quality concerns, etc. to improve the manufacturing process.
  • Ensure handling of product is in compliance with policies, standard operating procedures (SOP), and work instructions.
