The Production Relief Supervisor will supervise employees in the daily production of corrugated board, including training, planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating employee performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; promoting safety, quality production, and teamwork; and resolving conflicts. This role requires effective communication of operational information at all levels and active promotion of compliance with safety and quality programs.

Requirements

• Two years of supervisory and training experience preferred.
• Prior experience in the corrugated packaging industry preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must be willing to work all three shifts and some weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees in the daily production of corrugated board.
• Train, plan, assign, and direct work for employees.
• Evaluate employee performance and manage rewards and discipline.
• Promote safety, quality production, and teamwork.
• Resolve conflicts among team members.
• Lead and motivate employees by setting an example of superior behavior.
• Communicate operational information effectively in both oral and written formats.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and other organizational programs.
• Conduct training on specific subjects as assigned by the Site Manager or PIM.
• Complete related training documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
